Becoming the King/Where’s my father?

Becoming the King/Where's my Father? is a book within a book.

The story of a fictional prince who is being groomed to be a king and the powerful impact his life has on, Charlie, a young fatherless boy.

Twelve year old Charlie has been content for far too long with just getting by. To momentarily pacify his angry mother, Charlie begins to read a book that has actually been banned by his school. When he begins to learn about the abilities of the books main character, 8 year old Prince Henry, Charlie begins to re-examine his own life.

Classroom windows that used to be wormholes to a world full of daydreams are covered over by the four pillars; Responsibility, Integrity, Compromise, and Leadership, that Charlie learns from the young prince. As Charlie challenges himself, he finds a few mentors along the way that introduce some principles the book did not. With discipline and focus now on his side he realizes how easy it can be to achieve things he once thought so difficult, with or without a father to guide him.

Who will be my Judas?

Where do you find your answers when the world pulls your life out from under your love? How do you repair the hurt you've rewound in your mind day after day? How do you let a complete stranger come into your life and teach you when you're not ready to become the student?

Ask Rebecca Welling.

A traffic accident that took the lives of her husband and kids four years ago (an accident Rebecca feels she should have been in) has continually been replayed throughout her depression.

When you cry out to the universe, asking for answers, be ready for a reply. Living in a dilapidated house that represents her life, Rebecca inadvertently meets a traveling repair man named, Joe.

The real question is, was it truly inadvertently or did the universe send a sage in answer to her plea?

As Joe peacefully helps Rebecca repair the house from top to bottom, each new day brings a lesson that is some-times too painful to confront, yet when asked or viewed from another angle of thought, the answers are surprisingly simple and true.

Understanding how she has been her own Judas, sabotaging herself many times throughout her life, Rebecca begins the process of learning how she makes decisions and begins to complete the reclaiming of her life while hiking from Manhattan Beach to Monterey Bay, on the California coastal trail.

Just Thinking – Philosophical thought on words

Just Thinking is a collection of words that are written out into thought provoking ideas. Though many of the words are used in everyday conversations, they're rarely used in the context as author, Jeff Scott, uses them. The words, Warrior, Balance, Addiction, Attachments, Care, Grief, Hope, Faith, Purity, Movement, Tears, Silence and 100+ others are carefully crafted sometimes into playful quips and other times harsh observations.

A prologue describes why Jeff wrote, Just Thinking, and how it has changed his life. It has settled some of the thoughts concerning his beliefs and convictions. At the same time, he asks that the reader not be offended, and realize that people have thoughts not always in alignment with society's rules.

The last part of the book is described as controversial due to how some words are broken down and could cause a reader to disagree completely with the author. The book is divided at that point with a warning that the reader is only invited past the page of division, which informs them that if they're easily offended, they should not turn the page.

Though, Just Thinking, is considered non-fiction, the author realizes that some people just aren't open minded enough to handle the fact that many people have opinions and will share them regardless, such as the author has done.

If you've enjoyed the few chosen words that were shared in the free reading section then purchase, Just Thinking, and enjoy the mind contemplating ideas expressed.
